Cable shunting device LPZ 15-100

Cable shunting device LPZ 15-100 is designed for precise handling of railway vehicles on railway tracks, and side railway tracks of corporate railway sidings.

Device LPZ 15-100 consist of the basic technology units, placed in the area of the given railway track:
- Drive station
- Return station
- Shunting truck
- Inner railtrack
Between the drive and the return station placed in the rail track is led transport rope that pulls the shunting truck on the inner railtrack. By change of the prestress of the rope by the hydrautically tensioned drive station is achived slide out of pushing damper of the shunting truck, and after it is guided between axles, fastening of rail car´s wheels is achived. Shunting of the vehicle is possible in both directions on the whole length of the manipulation space.
Lowering the prestress of the rope leads to releasing the pushing damper of the shunting tuck, and its disconnection from the vehicle. When the shunting track is in parking position, passage of train units is possible without limitation.
It is possible to supply the device with variant of return station for faster shunting of the shunting truck to designated place (convenient for longer routes). Installation of the technology can carried out on all common types of sleepers (wood and concrete).
The device is able to completely replace economically demanding operation of locomotive in the given handling space, or obsolete method of shunting using towing rope. The benefit is also the increase of work safety while shunting, and the increase of operator´s comfort, and saving of handling time. Standard delivery includes basic electrical equipment, including firmly placed control panel at the place of loading (unloading) and warning signalization. At the request of a user, it is possible in appropriate places of the manipulation space to firmly place control panels (for example - in the operator´s control room).
